Okay, when looking for a current Steve Harris pic, I happened upon this news article about him selling his home. The pics are so cool, check em out.

It can't be "Van Halen" without Roth, any more than it can be "Van Halen" without Eddie.

Holy shit, that is one cool house! I have a friend who was made to live somewhere like that.

He's got dementia, and is in really poor health. Really sad to hear.

Lost my mom a year ago in November to Alzheimer's/Advanced dementia.

It progressed a little bit at a time, then completely robbed her of even the most basic tasks.
My Dad refused to put her in any sort of home, and she passed away in our childhood house, right
    next to him.
We had a team of home-care specialists come round towords the last year, which was really
    helpful.

I cannot tell you how confusing & strange it is, to sit next to this woman you've known & loved your
entire life, and not have her know who you are.
The interesting thing is she would show a spark when my dad would start speaking German to her, which
went way back to her life as a little girl.
That was the one thing that brought her back a bit, and got her smiling.

With Malcom, i'll bet he'll only recognize the very early years, his life right before AC/DC.
61 seems so incredibly cruel (and young) to have something as awful as dementia.
My mom was fine until about her mid 70's, where small signs crept in.

    This is so sad.

Malcolm's contributions to the AC/DC sound are very underrated. New music won't be the same.

I'm liking the new AC/DC tune, Brian sounds really good (surprisingly).

This track reminds me of the weird 85/86 era (Fly on the Wall, Blow up your video).
That period has it's own charm for me.

It gives off a FUCK vibe to me to be honest.

I don't mind it, a lot less monotonous than their more recent stuff.

Still think they messed up by not calling the new album "Man Down"

    Totally agree.

I thought "Man Down" was a cool title.

"Rock or bust" sounds completely dated & expected (for later AC/DC).
They used to have such cool album titles: Powerage, Highway to Hell, even For those about to rock....

I didn't like the last one but I heard one of the new tunes and I dug it. A really cool riff...and Brian does sound pretty good.
