    Fave summertime song from ADKOT

It is EARLY here in Saskatchewan, just got back from a super duper long run with my pups...

As I was running this morning I hooked back into ADKOT, and wondered what everyone's fave song for summer is from THIS album?

For me? At the moment... Beats Workin'. The heavy Eddie intro , Al's amazing drumming (smile JD!) and the tone in Dave's voice screams "let's have fun" (so tongue in cheek he is). Love, love, love it!! The guitar solo takes me away from this crazy universe... brilliant Eddie... I love his ability to do this to me... And the ending? Classic VH to this girls' ears.

And one final bonus, the song also provides the perfect pacing tool for this sloooooooow runner.

Mine would have to be Big River, its just got that big meaty riff, great for blasting out while your soaking up the sun.

I work close to home (1.5 miles) so I have been walking to and from with ADKOT on my headphones and when it's hazy, hot & humid I find the threesome of "She's The Woman", "Stay Frosty" & "Big River" get my arse in gear and help me get home quickly. The only problem is the weird looks I get from people as I walk by their houses singing all of those songs.

I love it Sinner Swing 32!!! I too get plenty of looks as I sing my heart out to VH (when walking only, I don't have the lung capacity to run AND sing). I will have to try your threesome and see if it motivates me the way it does you. I tend to listen to the entire album as it was laid out... I love the flow from one song to the next. Right now I especially am into Big River flowing right into Beats Workin', and As Is into HBSD.

Hazy it is not here, but hot and humid?? These days, oh yeah!!

Nothing wrong with "weird" in my books, especially when it applies to singing VH.... Your neighbors do not know what they are missing.

I will have to try this soaking up the sun routine...sans the palm trees while at my cabin in just a few more sleeps.

Puerto Rico, hey? Mmmmm, on first glance of this pic I thought Mayan.... now I am excited to plan a winter vacation with new VH to listen to (and soak in the sun)!!!!

This is a tough one. "Big River", "Beats Workin"(GREAT choice Nelah!), and "She's The Woman" all scream summer heat to me. But lately I've really been blasting "Blood And Fire" with the windows down cruisin through town. That is a perfect, triumphant summery tune to me with the whole band just blazin away!

"Big River" was when it was summer down here.
