Bridge on the new striped Wolfgang?

I have a question for those of you that have seen the new Guitar World with Ed and the new Wolfgang. At the beginning of the article on the Wolfgang there is a photo of Ed holding the white Wolfgang and the black, tobacco burst and striped version's sitting on stands next to him.The bridge on the striped version isn't a floyd or fixed bridge. What the hell is it?It's like nothing i've ever seen before. It has fine tuners and what appears to be a lever on the side closest to the volume knob.I don't have a scanner so i can't post the pic for you guys.

Thats his new invention called "Drop to Hell" or something like that.
Its a stoptail that drops to D tuning.
He says he's working on one that drops all the strings instead of just the E.
    Good luck with that, Ed

I noticed that mechanism too on the striped. Don't think I'd be interested in it if doesn't have a wiggle stick. I found myself lost lately when I pick up a guitar w/out a tremelo.

    I'm the opposite.

If a bar is attatched to my strat, it just feels alien & gets in my way.

I was surprised they didn't elaborate on the "Drop to hell" device in the GW article.
They sort of mention it in passing, yet it seems like something that would strike a lot of interest in guitar nuts.
I had to go back & re-read the reference in the interview, just to figure out what the hell they were talking about.

I like the bar, but my Epi doesn't have one. So I make do without it.

I'm still trying to get some tricks down with the thing.
