although i really liked the tone he got on Can't Get This Stuff No More too , which was also the Peavey , but with the mids up a lot , like his early VH tone .
i recall reading a mag (i think it was Guitar Shop?) when one of his engineers was raving on about the 5150 when it was first introduced . he went on to say that as kick ass sounding as they were , to him , the old Marshall was THE VH sound ....

Yea man i hear ya. I actually like the F.U.C.K. album a lot!! It was from a very special time in my life. But even though he was using Peavy amps (yuck) he still had his EBMM guitars. So?
