I think it would be really cool to hear VH play Yankee Rose or anything for Dave's solo career.

That set list looks even better if you remove this one:

    "Wolfie's short Bass interlude"

...and replace it with this new smash hit:

"I'm Not Really Dumb Enough to Replace Michael Anthony with My 15 Year Old Son"

Heh, sorry...I'm kinda sleepy this evening.

Scrap Jump, Panama, and Unchained. We've heard these songs so many times you would expect to find them in a GM commercial. I don't think they'll be missed for this tour.

No bass solo, drum solo, and an abbreviated guitar solo (unless Eddie does something fresh and not the some old routine), like the guy said above.

And if EVH is up to it, definately a few Diamond Dave songs. I'm sorry, but they should be played.

    Exclamation

Humm, set list for a possible Van Halen 2007 Reunion. Backing vocals will be a problem IF they got together and don't call Michael Anthony. But I'd go with:

    On Fire
    Feel Your Love Tonight
    Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love
    Runnin' With the Devil
    Dance the Night Away
    Bottoms Up!
    *Drum Solo*
    And the Cradle Will Rock...
    Romeo Delight
    Hear About it Later
Ice Cream Man - Dave Solo
    So This is Love?
    Cathedral / Secrets
    Little Guitars
    *Guitar Solo*
    Drop Dead Legs
    Hot For Teacher
    Me Wise Magic

    Encore:
    Unchained
    1984/Jump
    You Really Got Me
    Happy Trails

This band has so many great songs.
It's impossible to have an ideal set list, IMHO.
Wolfgang Van Halen - "I love being a bass player. Its just me and Al a groove section. Just boom, boom, boom, and were good". GW
    ---
Edward Van Halen - "What is next for Wolf is the next record and the next tour. Hes no different than I am. Music is his life. If he goes back to school, Ill probably go with him. GC

As much as a Dave fan that I am, no solo Dave songs please! This is about a Van Halen reunion and the songs they created!
