My band is playing at a Halloween show, and we're suppossed to become a tribute band for that nigh, and we chose to cover Van Halen.

Of course we'll use transitions like Hot For Teacher and Eruption, etc.

We're allowed to do only 3 tunes, (maybe 4 if we push it) so what 3 tunes from the David Lee Roth era should we cover?

Just come up with the best setlist to play! \m/

I guess if it's Halloween, you have to have Runnin' With The Devil.

I'd also include Beautiful Girls, Feel Your Love Tonight, and Romeo Delight.

Maybe go with stuff that's not overplayed to death on radio, but somewhat recognizable. I'd go for the much lesser known, but usually better tunes, but that's just me.

DO NOT play Panama or Jump--they get too much radio airplay as it is, and VH is much more than those 2 songs.

    Welcome aboard, by the way.

wow, another Julian! Welcome aboard this crazy train we call classic VH!

I'd open with Unchained, kick into Runnin' with the devil (just cus everyone knows it, plus 'devil' goes with Halloween) and finish 'em up with an extended 'everybody wants some!'

Sweet, =VH= cover band! You rock. Songs I would recommend:

-Running with the Devil: Most definitely
    - And the Cradle Will Rock: cause it's one of my faves
    - Mean Street: cause it rocks too.

Hell, you could pick any three =VH= songs and not go wrong.
    And I say ROCK ON!
