No, don't really like them. Snoozefest next to Nightwish for me...

Right on. I've only heard maybe a half dozen songs by Lacuna Coil, never a full album, so I was curious. I like the chick's voice from what I've heard, but the band altogether didnt really stand out to me.

My word, what a great death metal album.

Besides the second track, every song is solid. Just great riff after great riff. Some insane passages, and superb musicianship all around. My version comes with four bonus tracks, and the last one "Justifiable Homicide" has a great isolated bassline in it.

I've been listening to this one all week, and I usually get burnt out on death metal albums after a couple of listens.
    Jesus, man.

Dismember released something decent? Whoa! Now you got me interested there.
I never thought I'll be interested listening to them, but now .... I'll see what I can get.

    Thanks!

I thought you liked Dismember? Or do you pass them off as an Entombed clone?

Definitely check out that album. "Override the Overture" would be a good start.

You mean you can tell all these bands apart?

Before your post, I'd say that both bands sucked!

But now? Humm, I gotta listen to Dismember and see/hear what I'll find.

    Later!

I love Entombed, man. Wolverine Blues is a good record. I almost do prefer Swedish Death Metal to most American.
