Very cool discovery.
Makes me appreciate Bill Ward all the more, though. Hell, he might be the most unique drummer ever.

That's awesome! Hard to believe how many VH bootlegs you can amass from the club days, and STILL come across neat adds to the setlist like this, years later. Plus, the Black Sabbath 8-pack from 1968-78 is right up there with the Classic VH records for me. Neat to hear Eddie give an Iommi classic a try.
"I am not one of those weak-spirited, sappy Americans who want to be liked by all the people around them. I don’t care if people hate my guts; I assume most of them do. The important question is whether they are in a position to do anything about it. My affections, being concentrated over a few people, are not spread all over Hell in a vile attempt to placate sulky, worthless shits."
~ William S. Burroughs
Saw this posted at the Links by Brett, and yeah, this is awesome!
"Tomorrow's Dream" has always been such a killer track (love that moody, middle
part) from a great record (Vol. 4)
Bill Ward is definitely an essential ingredient to classic Sabbath.
Another reason i thought 13 was lacking.
He's too unique a drummer, especially in the metal realm.
I've been wanting to hear a cover of Black Sabbath from them for so long. And it's from Vol 4 which makes it even better. I hope more covers like these are pulled out from whatever vault it came from.
I think this is one of their better covers, honestly. Too bad Ed won't give this stuff an official release.
Nice find, Heisenberg!
Thanks for the post!![]()
