I can kinda get that chirp sound doing a muted pick scrape on the high(thin) E(D#) string. I've seen Guthrie Govan do it when he creates his own metronome in a looper.

"I’ve got a white Kramer Pacer, and that just goes with every outfit. That’ll go with my purple spandex, my zebra spandex, everything. And I’ve got a lot of spandex, so it’s good to have a versatile guitar that’ll go with your spandex.". - Satchel
Ha ha I saw the cover at guitar world website, so the missus and I took a stroll to our local newsagent to see if they had it, not yet. But I will buy it, as I need to know Ed's story behind that guitar. I fucking LOVE that guitar. So yeah, I'll keep you posted if and when I read the article.

Yes!! I bought it. I read that Ed did the paint job on the star, and that he still has it!! He said he really loved that danelectro neck and put it on so many guitars until the screws wouldn't work no more.
Ed also said that there's no extra footage to the Oakland show. They only filmed the three songs on the two different nights and that's it.
They're also making a head that's 1st album style classic, with a meaner gain if need be.
That's it. I don't mind the the star's stripes as much as I did the first time I saw it. I'd probably buy one if I had more cash.Just for funsies.
