    Yeah, I keep having people around me say Eddie is overrated.

    Just so stupid. Usually it's because "He only taps"

    ...I don't think they listen to much of VH.

    Ed really doesn't tap THAT much on the six pack. Not really much tapping on WACF for example. It's blasphemy to say this on a site like the Links, but much of the blame has to lie with the focus on pop singles and "more mature songwriting" during the Hagar years.

    But Miles Davis wasn't considered a virtuoso. His style was based more on melody and experimentation. He couldn't play bebop like Gillespie so he formed his own style that was slower.
