Edward/1984 cover story in new Guitar World!

Saw this on my FB feed....
Looks to be a kick-ass issue celebrating the anniversary of 1984.
Jake E. Lee is also featured.

Damn it, it won't let me post the cover pic.
It's a vintage 1984 era pic of Ed in the studio.

Is there anything new or is it rehashed old articles?

I didn't say it, the magazine did.

    His commercial milestone, maybe?

Picked this one up at the airport this morning!

Haven't purchased a copy of GW since it turned to trash about two years ago, but this one I had to get. What a stellar issue! I've only just started reading the Ed article, but the articles on Jake E Lee and No Rest For the Wicked were great.

No, I was not referring to you UG, I was replying to the magazine cover, which I find odd...the editors and writers know that 1984 is not his masterpiece, and they know 99% of all VH fans do not consider it his Masterpiece either, so why write that? I expect that type of stuff from other magazines that have no clue, not Guitar World.

In all fairness to GW, the average music fan recognizes 1984 moreso than "Fair Warning."
They wanna sell magazines, so that's where the headline comes from.
Personally, i'd consider FW his masterpiece, though i do prefer WACF & II (but just slightly).

Was gonna get the mag today at work, but it was cancelled due to the Boston Blizzard.
Instead, i watched the 7 hour "Friday the 13th" documentary, all of it!
