    where to sell guitars???

now before I offer anything for sale, let me explain...

I have several Van Halen replica guitars I need to sell, BUT the reason is I need to raise cash for my medical treatments...
    I have recurring colon cancer...
I want someone who plays to have these, but I also need to get as much as possible for them...
if I get permission to do that here, I will give details at that time...

I wasn't someone who would love these as much as me to have them, especially if I don't beat it again...
nobody in my family would probably appreciate these as much as I do...

anyway, enuff downer stuff... what suggestions you guys have???

    peace...

Agreed, and I'm sure the word will extend out to the Roth Army and the VHLinks regarding the Van Halen replica guitars for sale.

    I'd also add craigslist.

NOT ebay, as I'm sure you know.

as some of the other said, you might be better off checking some of the other VH forums. Most have more people than we do.

Let's see some pics and specs of the guitars in question

We all hope that Dave's medical issues work out for the best , but if he's indeed wanting to part with some VH replicas ... let's see 'em !!!
Details and asking prices would also be helpful.

Thanks Dave , and good luck .

here is my first replica, built it myself about 2002, very little playing time on it...

it started out as a blonde/butterscotch Squire strat...

the whole thing is painted, no tape stripes on this one...

it has a Seymour-Duncan SH-5 pickup and a "tone" knob on the volume pot...

the original style whammy bar with white plastic handle...

keep in mind, I am more of a collector than player (VERY amateur, actually) but did have help from a local pro setting this thing up, and he played it several times and said it is a nice guitar...

asking $600 which will include a cheaper nylon covered foam hard style case and shipping... (48 states only, international higher)

(all total I am trying to raise close to $5000 to cover the deductibles for my treatments, starting in early November)
serious inquiries PM me here and I will get back to you with my personal contact info
can do PAYPAL, I do have PAYPAL account
this replica may not be EXACT, but it always turned heads everywhere it went
it has been hanging on a holder in my climate controlled basement and might be a little dusty...
it will have to be "all sales final" but I believe you won't be disappointed

    peace...

The tricky thing with the replicas is that for 200.00 more you can get the EVH Charvel B/W model,
with all the bells & whistles.
That guitar looks great, but it's still a Squier under the hood (not bad guitars, but not Charvel).
And, of course, i do realize Charvel is now made by Fender, which owns Squier.
    But, still...

Dave, how about the Shark replica you had (i think it was made from an Epiphone Explorer?)
That's a unique axe, you can't buy off the racks.

And i do truly wish you well, brother.
In no way, am i attempting to derail your listings, just making observations.
