Which guitars EVH played on what

No idea if this has been covered before here, but one of the things I tend to find myself wondering a lot about is what ed played on what.

There's the more obvious ones- Destroyer on much of VH1, definitely on You Really Got Me, the mini Les Paul on Little Guitars, the Ripley on Top Jimmy, the Flying V on Hot for Teacher, and then the less obvious, and then probably the unknowable or unprovable, but speculated or mythologized ones.

I've heard that the solo to And The Cradle Will Rock was done on his ES-335. Today I viewed Doug Steele's video lesson of Simple Rhyme and he mentions the notion that the 12 string parts were done on a Rickenbacker. I've always wondered what the deal was with the Danelectro, or then the Danelectro neck on other guitars,I guess, and also when Ed might have used Les Pauls or strats in recording, for instance.

Anyhow, the point is, I wanted to get something going where people could share what they know, bring up what they think, or ask about what they've wondered.

Any info and thoughts appreciated in advance. Thanks!

Eddie used a EBMM double neck guitar/baritone on "Spanked" .
A Coral electric sitar was used to double some of his parts in ATBL .

There were a few prototype Peavey Wolfgang guitars used to record VH III .
Some of these included a P-90 loaded guitar , a Trans Trem equipped model , and a Wolf Special w/three single coil pickups .

It would be neat to have some studio insiders come forth ...

    Cool

There is speculation that they used some of KISS's gear on the Gene Simmons demo's. Although I have read conflicting statements from reliable sources, so don't know for sure. Most likely it is thought that EVH used his own Starburst Strat, and possibly a Les Paul played through Ace's rack.

On the 1980 Invasion Tour he played the Les Paul during " And The Cradle Will Rock ", not sure if that's what he used on the album. Chronicleing what they used on what songs, and more in depth information would make a great book.

I'm thinking he was playing the Kramer frankies more by this point. He might have recorded with them, but I remember the Kramer guitars became much more iconic in these years.
