I see your point , but the guy in the post above me was making sort of a 'wish list' .
Not that it's likely to happen ...

    I'll tell you what.

If they make those 2 dates in June.

Those are going to be some pretty big shows.

However, this is Van Halen, afterall. Anything can happen. Should be their tag line.

"VAN HALEN - Anything can happen"

Can "They" make it to the shows?

I think we can count on Dave. He's only been living there for God Sake. Al sounds like he is in. Not unless Dave was referring to another Alex we don't know about. Wolf? Wolf is on his 1st parent-less rock tour with "Good" friends and people his own age. He can do two more shows for the old man, yeah? Two shows, then back to the sex, drugs and rock & roll.

    Then there is Ed.

Over and under Van Halen plays Japan in June?

If they wish to keep open the possibility of future big payday tours, they dont eff up these shows...I say they still play.

I hope (and think) that VH will continue after the Japan shows .
Not too sure about the big festivals though ? From the impression i get , Ed was never too happy with those .
Lot's of chaos and harder to get a good outdoor sound , not to mention playing at different hours than they're used to .

Having said that , Ed really is the weak link in the chain . Sorry to say it , but it's true .
Dave , Al and probably Wolf are good to go . Eddie's chops aren't the problem like years ago (he showed us ALL on ADKOT and the tour) , but his motivation seems to be .

I'd like to think that after a rough end to last year he'd be wanting to come back with a vendetta !
