So the cancelled US dates will be after these or?
According to Blabbermouth: http://blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mo...sitemID=182204
According to Pollstar.com, VAN HALEN's rescheduled shows in Japan will now take place in June 2013 — June 21 at the Tokyo Dome; and June 24 and 26 at Osaka's City Central Gymnasium.
Tickets purchased for the original dates will be honored.
VAN HALEN had originally planned to play Japan in late November but was forced to postpone the shows after guitarist Eddie Van Halen underwent surgery in August for diverticulitis, a condition resulting from pouches in the colon becoming inflamed.

That's an insanely long wait.
I was thinking they'd get back out there in Winter.
So, 2013 is shot.
There won't be any new album, or dates in the US.
It'll be Japan, then two more years of silence, i'm betting.
We'll have long run out of stuff to talk about, by then...

I guess they gotta take time for Ed to recover and then spend another few months gearing up for those shows.
I'm rather apathetic though, I saw them this year. I'm good.![]()
Ready, Eddie!

haha UG and Dan lookin' good with the new avatars !
I have to believe they will play more than just these three shows in Japan next year. They'll have plenty of time after this long tour of Japan to add a few shows somewhere on the globe.
Absolutely !
VH are gonna rock again in 2013 and the Japan dates are just the beginning IMO . The guys are certainly going to make up for lost time next year . If anything , i think Eddie's recent health battles will encourage the band even more to get out there and DO IT ... Mortality may be setting in , and there's no need to consciously waste any more time .
Add that to the fact that 2012 was a great year for them and that their recording and tour was a success ? Even more fuel for the fire .
