What an incredible find, thanks for sharing!
I'd almost rank Randy up there with Tom Morello.
He starts playing around the 3 min mark and only plays for about a min but still its some tasty bits...

That's a pretty old clip, watched that years ago.
Randy kind repeats himself with that diminished run, though.
there's a few questions i have about Randy . last year there was a rerelease of his albums with Ozzy in a boxed set which contained a dvd of live footage . anyone have this ? and why haven't i seen any clips ?
also , in a recent issue of GW magazine there was mention of 2 new tabletop books that profiled him . one came with a dvd as well . anyone have this , and where are the clips ?
are these genuine new glimpses of RR or are they just recycled footage ?
on a side note , there is a tribute band on Youtube called 'Rhoads to Oz' . the guitarist looks similar to Randy and has his rig nailed down too ! the polka dot V and the Marshall RR signature white amps . his version of the live Suicide Solution solo is pretty darned close , but a bit slower and punched in ...

I managed to get just the DVD from the boxset, courtesy of eBay.
It's a feature documentary on Randy, plus a non pro-shot concert from the "Madman" tour.
It also contains the After Hours clips, which are great.
Let me go get it...
30 minutes of front row footage shot May 2, 1981, New York's Palladium (Blizzard tour, btw)
It's kinda rough, though (for front row).
Apparently, the two Rhoads books were on sale at the Guitar World website.
EXPENSIVE!
What the heck ever happened to the huge Randy movie, that was supposed to come out, like four
years ago?!
It was this huge deal, then nothing.
