The band just has zero musical chemistry.
It sounds like a collision of solo Sammy Hagar, solo Satriani & some elements of VH.
HSAS had chemistry, i will give Sammy that.
Satriani just doesn't fit, like Schon did.
I just watched them on Jay Leno from Thursday night. It was awful.
WTF is Joe Satriani doing with these guys?
Mike's vocals were great...if he was in Van Halen.
Bad song whatever it was. I can't even find a clip of the badness.

I watch Leno every night but that night i was out with band having wings. Don't care for the band but would have liked to have seen it.
I'm trying to post it but it wont go , its on the Leno website.
Here's a lame clip from last year on Leno

The song sounds like it should be on a movie soundtrack from the 80's.
Oh God, just watched it.
Sounds like they are doing an old Survivor ballad, from 1987.
The sad thing is that i totally could picture this song ending up on a VH album,
had Sam remained in the band.
I could hear Ed noodling over it, circa FUCK or Balance.
That's the really strange part.
You can hear how much of VH's sound, post Roth, was molded by Sammy.
