5 overplayed songs that you never get sick of

    1. Hotel California (I never tire of this damn song, and the dual guitar solo finale between Don felder
& Joe Walsh, is without doubt, THE most elegant, musical solo of all time)

    2. Unchained (i hear it constantly, i always get goosebumps to this day!)

    3. Comfortably numb (Pink Floyd at their soothing bust, and Gilmour's solo is sublime)

    4. Beast of Burden (Love that mix of gutsy rock & those R&B influences.
Keef starts things off with yet another gorgeous riff, and Jagger lays forth some
    great lyrics & vocals).

    5. Pride (in the name of love) (U2's greatest song, stunning vocally & musically.
U2 has many great songs, from their earlier years, but this is their finest moment).

    1. "Whole Lotta Love" - Probably the most heard song in my life, has been blasted in the household since my birth and I never ever get sick of it.

    2. "Achilles Last Stand" and "Kashmir" - Two Titanic tunes that never get old.

    3. "Birds of Fire" - This Mahavishnu song sounds just as good every single time.

    4. "Paranoid" - Definitely not Sabbath's pinnicle, and for from my favourite tune, but no matter how many times it gets played, I never get sick.

    5. "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)" - Always has the same energy

    6. "Peaches En Regalia" - Breathtaking Zappa Opus

Close to making the already too long cut: "Sweet Emotion", "Lethargica" by Meshuggah, "Baba O'Reilly"

"Achilles" is one of those songs that i'm always thinking, "Okay, end it already..."
It goes on & on, and becomes repetitive.

I like the intro & the very end, which is the same thing. LOL.

I decided to ignore the overplayed part, and channel into me playing it a lot and not getting sick.. Because I can.

    Exclamation

    Panama - Van Halen

    Back in Black - AC/DC

    Hotel California - Eagles

    Rock'n'Roll - Led Zep

Owner of a Lonely Heart - Yes

There are plenty of other overplayed tunes, but these are the ones that came to mind now.
Wolfgang Van Halen - "I love being a bass player. Its just me and Al a groove section. Just boom, boom, boom, and were good". GW
    ---
Edward Van Halen - "What is next for Wolf is the next record and the next tour. Hes no different than I am. Music is his life. If he goes back to school, Ill probably go with him. GC

    Won't Get Fooled Again

Whole Lotta' Love (Virtually any Zep for that matter.)

    Cold as Ice

    Carry on Wayward Son

    Roundabout

Here's 5 that I wish to never hear again:

    Don't Bring Me Down (ELO)

    Owner of a Lonely Heart

    Another Brick in the Wall

    D'yer Make'er (Alright, there's one Zep exception!)

    Fat Bottomed Girls

*The reason for the above songs is that there are so many much better songs by all of these artists (even ELO) - yet the radio insists on playing these cuts every day.
    Several times a day.
