Hmmm... it sounds like Ed playing, or someone playing in Ed's style. Other than the lead, it's pretty much white noise in the background - almost sounds like it's being played backwards. I have to think Ed produces better demos than this.
Today the MrVanfaken channel uploaded this. Just as I'm typing, I realise that the name is very trollworthy, but most of his videos are legit and rare. It's tough to make out due to the quality of this video, but I found it worth posting anyway.
Thoughts?

Achilleslastand - You come off as attempting to sound funny in every worthless post of yours...If i was you id be seeking a refund from the dane cook school of comedy as its clear to me you got ripped off....
That's most certainly Ed, and not a sound-alike.
I'm pretty much thinking the same thing... odd that this just comes out of nowhere.. Take a listen to the next video in the line-up (1982), I've never heard this demo of Jump before... very cool. Where does this guy get this stuff? Man, I'd love an album full of demos/outtakes!

Sounds like Ed to me. Even copycats never sound just like Ed. It's impossible.
It makes sense, Good Enough was being worked on towards the end of the 1984 tour, so it would logically be the first, or one of the first, demos created.. I wish it was a few generations fresher!

Sounds like somebody wiped their ass with the tape.
Ready, Eddie!
I think the "Jump" demo is from the 1982 GW interview that used to be on Youtube.
