That was cool. I'm surprised VH doesnt do this one live, with all the spectacular guitar parts by Ed. And with the laid back vibe of the intro, they could extend that and kinda jam on it and make it a showcase for Wolf and for Dave's adlibs. I think this song would suit Dave's voice just fine now.

It is the unhinged rawness and "live" feel of WACF that I've always given it the slight edge over FW. Plus, I've always loved Al's drums the best on WACF of all the albums. Just a wide variety of drums on display on that record. I am always wishing Al would go back to actually using Octobans in the studio!
I've always thought someone would make a loop sample of the drum intro to Dirty Movies. I might do it myself! DM and Dance the Night Away would both be great drum loops.
It can't be "Van Halen" without Roth, any more than it can be "Van Halen" without Eddie.

    Unchained unchained unchained I say!!!!

Nothing gets me revved up like THAT song. The energy is beyond words.

Eddie's guitar screams edgy, sexy, passionate spirit. Primal.

    Love love love it.

2 great tracks by Al, although Al has always played DTNA better live than what's on the record.

Unchained is MY ringtone too!! But I made mine---go to phonezoo.com, it lets you convert any mp3 to a ringtone, you get about 29 seconds of play per ringtone, it will upload it to your phone and it's free.
