If you would have asked me a few months ago, then WACF. Now, I can't choose. I was deep into WACF, where as now I've put it on hold and tend to listen to FW and Diver Down the most out of the pack. I used to not like the filler on FW, but now appreciate it. So I have no clue. Both great.

To me WACF has a very smooth radio friendly feel to it. Not that thats a bad thing. It actually sounds like a better recording then FW. But FW is one of my top two albums and just love it! So for me its FW! Plus the two singles off of WACF are sooo over played and i'm kinda sick of hearing them. Kinda like some of the songs from VH1. Good stuff just played out.

How does WACF only have 2 votes when 3 people say they prefer it in this thread?? Somebody forgot to stand up and be counted!

Your correct, i forgot to vote in both polls (just voted WACF & DD).

WACF certainly does not sound smooth & radio friendly, to my ears.
It's probablly their heaviest record, and the thing was recorded in like 8 days or something.
WACF has an almost live feel, very raw as well (Romeo Delight, Fools, Everybody wants some!)

1984 sounds much more radio friendly, in my opinion.

WACF Definitely!!! The Band at their peak on record as a WHOLE!!! No filler either... Also, WHAT 2 SINGLES are you referring to on this album, Mallon? I only recall "Cradle" being released as a single...

For a long time i always said "Fair Warning" was my Favourite VH album but this year I listened many times WACH and Now I know that WACH could be the best! Hard to choose! I love : And the craddle will rock, EWS, Romeo Delight, Loss Of Control, Take your Whiskey Home, Could this be magic? and In a Simple Ryhme for WOMEN AND CHILDREN FIRST, for FAIR WARNING I love "Mean steet", Dirty movies, Hear About it later, unchained, Push comes to shove

    WACF : 7
    FAIR WARNING : 5

So Today i vote for WACF!

It's funny, my two favorite songs come from FW (Unchained, Hear about it later).
But as a whole piece, WACF is superior, imo.
WACF has this kind of "still young, still hungry, but extremely confident" vibe to it.
    "Baby, Pleeeeeeeeeeeaaaaasssssssseeeee-ahhhhhhhhh!"
