    Exclamation

    Thanks for sharing, Achilles.
Is that the one EVH plays Cathedral?

Oh, I remember hearing an old audio file from that tour and EVH started to play that awful guitar intro to what later became known as Blargh! and Blue.

EDIT: you posted part 1 twice!
Wolfgang Van Halen - "I love being a bass player. Its just me and Al a groove section. Just boom, boom, boom, and were good". GW
    ---
Edward Van Halen - "What is next for Wolf is the next record and the next tour. Hes no different than I am. Music is his life. If he goes back to school, Ill probably go with him. GC

    Thanks for posting this!!! Awesome!
Love the behind the scenes stuff!!

I wonder if this show was just BTO and Van Halen? Or did they have an extra opening act, since it looked like a stadium show?
    Go RAMS!

    You're almost right, Jonezy.

9/01/1986 - Silver Stadium - Rochester (NY) - Open acts: BTO and Kim Mitchell.

Oh man, this is so fucking cool!

Listen to Ed just noodling away, he's just blowing my mind, he's so fluid.
In part 2, as he's watching Sam climb the stage, he does some really cool stuff.

Imagine if, as they're watching, Sammy falls to his death!

    I love the covers, man!

Whole lotta love, Communication, How many more times, them changes...

Cool to hear him jamming 'women in love' from VHII.

When he's playing, the roadies are all kinda slack-jawed.
What a fucking cool gig for those guys!
