I got a two-records-on-one-CD thing of Bo Diddley's first two albums many years ago. It's some pretty good stuff. I like him more than B.B. King or Robert Johnson, for sure. My old band, the legendary ZEN, used to cover the song "Hey, Bo Diddley!" You haven't heard that until you've heard it through a solid state Marshall.

Wasn't that also him in Spinal Tap that tells them to "take a little jog to the left, go through that door, and that's the stage?"

I'm not sure if that was him in Spinal Tap, I'll have to look into that.

RIP Mr. Diddley....he was a great player, and a performer with a sense of humor...wasn't he the one in the commercials with the tag line, "Bo don't know diddley"?? made me smile every time...

Can still remember being a little kid and hearing my dad jam out his stuff.
Influenced a lot of players after him.
    R.I.P. Bo
