Haha, Mike gets owned at the end of the video.

    That was funny!

I give this thread 5 posts until it goes downhill about how much 'Jump' sucks.

This is a good one, Iro...I saw it once before and it's companion vid that has behind the scenes stuff from Panama and scenes of the guys getting out of the trunk of a car at a casino in Vegas (I think)...couldn't find it tonight though...

Love the expression on Dave's face when he lands the backflip, like he's saying, "Mom! Look what I can do!" He's just as pleased as punch with himself! haha!

Then The Alex has to be a smarty puss, around 2:30 or so....
He really puts the "B" in subtle sometimes....

Nothin wrong with a little synth from time to time, especially if it comes from CVH. Gotta be in the right mood for it though. I'll take Jump and I'll Wait over a few other tracks from 1984.

I personally like the song, but some around here don't!

I don't like I'll Wait, to me thats the weakest CVH song EVER!

I've heard it all before. I think alot of people resent Jump because it sorta signifies the end of CVH. Personally, I think it's a great song. As for I'll Wait, fantastic solo (nothing new), and, although it's not their strongest track, I would take it over many others that became commercially popular (cough, Dancin in the Street, cough).

And yet, it's one of my favorites....that's what makes this place such a cool hangout. All kinds of folks with differing opinions makes for an interesting mixer....Variety is, after all, the spice of life!!

I thought the spice of life was chili powder? Ah, whatever!

I'll wait has good lyrics, and a good solo, other than that, it sucks. It's like Eddie was castrated! His tone had no ballsy attributes to it after FW.

I think his tone in the solo for I'll Wait is the classic example of Edward's ability to make his guitar speak what's inside his head...the sheer emotion dripping off the strings during that solo just gives me goosebumps! It's one of his best, IMHO.
