I kinda hate to admit this, but i'm listening to the new "Florence & the machine" CD.
It's actually really good.
I hear a little Sinead in her delivery ("Lion & the Cobra" era Sinead), some anger there.
The music kinda fits her voice, and i like it.

The Mahavishnu Orchestra-Birds Of Fire
Track 7-"One Word" 9:55 of pure percussive genius by the masterful Billy Cobham.
Hands down the best Jazz or Fusion album of all time.
Words can't describe the amazingness of that record.
In the Aerosmith Autobiography, there's a chapter on when they opened for Mahavishnu for a tour, and Joey Kramer was distraught because seeing Billy Cobham playing was like he was playing a completely different instrument.
You guys gotta hear the "Spectrum" album by Billy Cobham.
It's one of my favorites and features Tommy Bolin on guitar.
I fancied something acoustic, so I put on the Bert Jansch debut.
Tool's Lateralus making it's way back into the rotation. Still one of my favs.
