So so shows. We don't have a decent bigger venue, really. Elton John played here. That was freakin' huge. Yeah, the Peel is great. I live about a mile from the venue. Just saw Henry Rollins' spoken word show the other night. I'll be seeing VH in G'boro too and I'll be hitting Atlanta for Maiden in June...(weekend and all).

Many as I can. VH in G-boro, I can't make the Charlotte night. And of course, Iron Maiden this June. Asheville gets a slew of good shows usually, right? I've been to the Orange Peel once; greaaaaat venue.

Oh very good!! How many shows will you be seeing in the area?

Thanks PD.... back in 2008 I was in VH withdrawal and that pic was the promo for VH playing a final gig in Quebec City- it always makes me smile. I love the relationship between Ed and Dave there, I think it symbolizes so much...intensity and power....yummy!

Yeah, I attribute this good fortune year for VH to my friend Jim, a very talented artist who, out of the blue, sent me a picture of EVH he'd painted. That was over the summer. I knew when I got it that good things were coming for us fans. Joked about that with him a bunch as news started to filter in about the project.
