  1. I was very good at volleyball, softball/baseball....that's it.
I still don't understand how to play Football, and i was terrible at basketball.
But i kicked ass with a bat or a mit, and i loved doing volleyball!
Badminton was another game i really excelled at, but tennis was harder.
  2. Oh God, how I hate playing shirts vs skins.
I usually refuse to play skins, and would even if I was sculpted.
I just hate having to rub bodies with sweaty men, disgusting.
I was always the fat kid in gym class that sucked at everything.
It's weird though, now I wish I could re-do all of those classes and survival camps with hikes that we had at school, because I'd do really well now.
I'd love those hikes! Wanted to kill myself doing them back then!
I stopped doing gym as soon as I'd gotten enough units. My Dad wasn't happy about it..
  3. (Part 2) When i got into High School, and into guitar heavily, i skipped Phys-Ed for two entire years.
I never went, and it seemed no one noticed.
Then my Senior Year they caught me!
In order to graduate, i was required to have all those Phys Ed credits i skipped.
    The result?
I was forced to take Gym three times a week (certain days twice), to make up for it.
My guidance counselor, somehow, worked this out, so i could graduate with my class.
  4. I was a skinny kid, and in gym class in Junior High, they always made us do the "Shirts & skins thing."
I was always on the skins side, so we'd all have to be shirtless, playing some retarded touch football game.
It always struck me as very gay, just the concept of shirtless guys being dominated by guys with shirts on.
The male gym teacher seemed to delight in all of this shit.
I got slammed for being too skinny, the fat kids got harassed for being overweight.
Nothing good ever came out of, "Shirts vs. skins."
The result was kids being humilated & feeling bad about their body types.
  5. I've had a gut my whole life, guess it's my parents over feeding me when I was younger.
I lost weight two years ago and started getting serious about basketball, so I don't look fat..
But then when I take off my shirt, the fat is still there.
Although this past summer, I actually did feel comfortable at the beach again.

Young kids, especially girls, always have me feeling self conscious.
I know they're probing me, and think I'm strange.
I've become so introverted lately, thanks to no school.

I went to that shark beach on the weekend by the way, didn't see any dead seals or sharks though.
  6. Haha, the "body issues" comment, cracked me up!
I'm not even that bad, but as i've aged, i have a tiny little belly growing.
So my eight year old niece, who ALWAYS says whats on her mind, goes: OH MY GOD!
YOU ARE GETTING FAT! MOM! DAD! HEY! DO YOU EVEN WORK-OUT?!!"
I swear to God, everytime i encounter my sister's two kids, my self-esteem drops into the single digits.
And they are little kids, so i can't be like, "Yeah, screw you! At least, i've gotten laid!" LOL.
  7. That's understandable, considering that that happened to you.
    I would have been traumatized.
I'm the opposite though, I can't stay away from the beach.
I need to go see the beach every weekend. I live 5 minutes from the beach.
My high school was literally about 100 feet from the beach.
I don't swim much, used to be body issues, now it's just being freaked out by seaweed and all the little poisonous things.
I'm more freaked out of rivers though, you can't even see what's in them.
  8. I'm really intrigued by this Oceanic white tip shark.
It's like venturing into deep space, the creatures that we never see wash up along the shore.
The ocean is creepy, i nearly drowned once as a child, but an adult pulled me back.
The fucking tide just grabbed me, i'll never forget it.
I grew up near the ocean & beaches (i'm from Newburyport).
I don't think i've been to the beach, since i left home!
The last day of High School, we had an actual party on Plum Island beach, at night.
I think that was the last time i was physically next to the ocean.
  9. I'm terrified of flying!
I'm also really scared of heights, which is ironic because I am quite tall.
Science teachers say it's because of my higher centre of gravity; I'm more susceptible to flipping over something and falling from a distance.
I've never seen a shark in the wild before, but my friends have.
Two years ago there was this sick Blue Shark that swimming along beaches in the bay constantly. It was spotted and videod in the shallows of many beaches I go to for walks. It even got beached next to St Kilda Pier.
I've seen a shit tonne of sting rays though!
  10. Three of my greatest fears combined:
Plane crash, deep in the ocean, sharks....
It does feel like that recent incident with the surfer, was a "Rogue shark."
It was like the thing tore him in half, deliberately.
Most sharks will take a quick nibble, not like the taste, then leave.
This shark made a show of it!
