Shit, you can swear as much as you like on the East coast, must be a Southern thing.
Yeah, this is pretty much the land of Walmart & good, old christian values (and Taco Bell).
I met this fine chick from Canada today (and yesterday, she came in again).
She was like the coolest, nicest, most laid back (and hot) girl i have ever met.
I think Canada is the new America!

After a week here, I must say, I haven't had too much of a culture shock.
The only thing that kind of astounded me was when the Vice Chancellor Lady looked offended and told me off for saying "Oh shit".
"Did you just say 'oh shit'?" "Yeah" "We don't do that here, especially in front of me"... Wow. I'm eighteen, not five. I can say what I want.
The variety of food here is insane too.
So many fast food joints and junk food... I'm probably going to leave here obese.
I found a Van Halen lighter at Wal Mart, which I thought was pretty cool.

Watch him come back and buy all of those horrible Deep Purple albums like In Rock and Burn!
I arrived in America a few hours ago.
Loving the weather here, people have been nice so far.

Last night this Brazilian metal kid came in & bought both "Holy Diver" and the 4.99 Burn the Priest CD!
We were just talking about that, too!

Someone even stated that they think that it's the most Van Halen sounding track on the album...
I gotta admit, I was quite disappointed when I first heard HBSD and "Trouble With Never".
If I wanted to listen to "Gates of Babylon" or "Crosstown Traffic", I'd listen to Rainbow or Hendrix.
The rest of the album is stellar though.

I miss out on seeing Ghost next year by one month. Ouch!

What i don't get is, how the least sounding VH track of them all (and one that basically rips off Rainbow,
of all bands), is this big favorite!
We love VH, we worship that classic VH sound...
Let's pick the one that sounds like Ritchie Blackmore with a sustainer!

Who knew that such an iconic tune was actually dated and inferior to its rip-off!

That's what I usually do, shit day, get dvds and cds.
I've had to limit myself this year though, because I've needed to save up a lot.
Is the dvd good?
I've got the Hendrix West Coast Seattle Boy box set, but I haven't listened to it yet.
I want to take it with me to the States, but I'm worried it'll get damaged in flight.

I just bought the new DVD on "Wish you were here."
She was being a bitch yesterday, so to drown my sorrows, i buy music DVD's!
