It's going to be a busy few weeks for Bret Michaels. The Poison frontman, solo star, television personality and entrepreneur, will not only be releasing a solo album entitledGood Songs & Great Friends, he'll also be hosting AOL's live coverage of the Grammy Awards via an online chat. The live blog kicks off 7:15 EST, Sunday night on AOL.com.

Good Songs & Great Friends finds Michaels covering some of his all-time favorite songs along with material from his own hit catalog. The album features guest performances from the likes of Loretta Lynn, Jimmy Buffett, Phil Collen (Def Leppard), Gary Rossington, Peter Keys & Rickey Medlocke (Lynyrd Skynyrd), Leslie West (Mountain), Jaret Reddick (Bowling for Soup), Bobby Capps (38 Special), Joe Perry (Aerosmith) C.C. Deville (Poison) and others.

You can check out Ace Frehely (Kiss), Michael Anthony (Chickenfoot, Van Halen) and rapper Lil Jon, joining Michaels on a new version of the Poison anthem the "Nothin' But a Good Time" and Lorreta Lynn, Joe Perry, and Hugh McDonald (Bon Jovi) reinterpeting the power ballad standard "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," (link) below.

Jeesh this guy is everywhere. Hes like the Dave Grohl of hair metal only w/o the stupid smile and a band not quite as lame as the FF.
I had to turn it off after hearing Ace completely flub a CC Deville solo.
